Need help learning your part?
Rehearsal/Listening Aids
Cyberbass and Choir Parts offer rehearsal aids for Mozart's Vespers, KV 339.
You can access these free online products on your own:
CyberBass listening aids: target voice part amplified, accompaniment diminished
allows you to slow down, speed up and loop your part to suit your practice needs
Choir Parts: follow along with score and amplified voice part on YouTube
Helpful hint: Use search terms such as "Mozart," "Vesperae," and "rehearsal aid" if you navigate away from your desired page and get lost! Then find your voice part and the movement you want to hear/see.
There are also full performance recordings of the Vespers that you can find online to help with texts and to get accustomed to the sound of the orchestra. Here's a link to one, though you might find others that you prefer!
Please note:
These are rehearsal/listening aids only and may differ slightly from the score we are using for Summer Sing. If there any discrepancies between your score and what you see/hear online, please follow what is indicated in the Carus score provided to you after registration.
Our Music Director, Matthew Rupcich, will give the choir his markings for tempi, articulation, etc., at rehearsal.

COVID-19 Protocols
Vaccination Requirement
To participate in Summer Sing 2023, all singers must be vaccinated to protect against COVID-19.
Registered singers will be required to provide proof of vaccination to participate in Summer Sing. Please check your email for instructions.
This means singers should have received the full course of a primary series of vaccination:
two doses (Pfizer, Moderna or Novavax)
one dose (Johnson & Johnson)
Arcadia Chorale strongly encourages participants to stay up-to-date with booster shots as recommended, though proof of boosters is not required to participate in Summer Sing
If you participated in last year's Summer Sing and already submitted proof of primary series vaccination, you do not have to provide your information again. If you are unsure if we have your information on file, email us at summersing@arcadiachorale.org
While the overall threat from COVID-19 has lessened for the general public, singing remains a high-risk activity. For your own safety and the safety of your singing partners and audience, please follow CDC recommendations for vaccination.
Individuals who are feeling sick or test positive for COVID-19 (even if asymptomatic) at the time of Summer Sing should not attend.
We understand there are various health concerns that may affect some of our participants. Please consider your personal health risk and make the decision that is right for you.
Masks
Masks are required for all individuals during indoor activities when the county's (Lackawanna) COVID-19 Community Level is high. Masks are also encouraged during indoor activities for high-risk individuals when the Community Level is medium.
Singers are welcome to wear a mask throughout Summer Sing, regardless of COVID-19 Community Level.
Note: Arcadia Chorale reserves the right to require masks for singers even if CDC guidelines are more relaxed at the time of Summer Sing.
General
All participants will be required to follow local, state, and CDC guidance regarding masking and social distancing that is in place during the time of Summer Sing.
All singers will be required to follow Covenant Presbyterian Church's protocols regarding masking and social distancing that are in place during the time of Summer Sing.
Since this is an ever-changing situation, check back here regularly for updated information. Thank you for your cooperation!
