A number of waivers are available for registration and meal vouchers. Before you register, email if you would like to be considered for student financial assistance.

Location/Parking and Schedule

Location & Parking 

All Summer Sing activities will be held at Covenant Presbyterian Church,  550 Madison Ave, Scranton, PA 18510. The church has two parking lots:


Friday, June 23: 

(3:30–5:30pm Orchestra ONLY: no singers!)

6:00–7:00pm Singer Registration/Orientation

7:00–9:30pm Chorus rehearsal (full choir and sectionals)

Saturday, June 24: 

9:00am–6:30pm Rehearse with Summer Sing Chorus and Orchestra

6:30pm Group warm up

7:00pm Performance!

You can access these free online products on your own:


Helpful hint: Use search terms such as "Mozart," "Vesperae," and "rehearsal aid" if you navigate away from your desired page and get lost! Then find your voice part and the movement you want to hear/see.

There are also full performance recordings of the Vespers that you can find online to help with texts and to get accustomed to the sound of the orchestra. Here's a link to one, though you might find others that you prefer!

Rehearsal and Performance Attire

REHEARSALS (including dress rehearsal)

Singers may wear casual clothing.  Masks may be required depending on pandemic protocols at the time.  


Singers should wear all black.

After registering, participants who purchase meal vouchers will be sent an email to designate food choices from options below:

Audience Tickets

General admission tickets will available to the public for the Summer Sing performance on Saturday, June 24.  Tickets will be available at the door or online here.
